a picture is worth 1000 words



that is not true anymore.

we live in a world where I can type 5 words to AI and it will spit out a "perfect" image.
a quick scroll on social media reveals thousands of sterile images that inspire
     a like.
           a comment.            
                   if anything at all 



all I see are photos that follow all the rules.
edited for hour. upon hour.
every imperfection stripped out
leaving nothing but an
     emotionless.
               empty.
                   idealistic.
image with no real feeling
allowed.           
        inside



creativity and originality are being
    sucked.
           out.
of us by little boxes of flashing lights
    rotting.
         our brains away



art has become a race to see who can accumulate. the most views. the largest following. the biggest collection.
of the little fake. hearts that we call likes



that is not what I want to create
I want to
stop.
      consuming.
stop.
      adding.
stop.
      making
           noise.
and bring something beautiful to life



my goal is to take pictures that are    worth more than 1000 words images that have
    a
        heart
               beating
                      inside of them
     scenes
that
         can
                   be
                          felt
I strive to take a thoughtful step back and reveal the beauty of the imperfections that make us human.
to capture the
               emotional
                         essence
of the
        moment

to create real art

       breath
             pause scrolling
take a
       look
             up
and see the gorgeous messed up world that we live in
